Failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS)
Cox flexion distraction therapy has been shown to provide relief in many post surgical patients who are still suffering back pain, after having received spinal surgery. A study undertaken in 2011 of 32 post surgical patients published in JMPT, reported relief of 40% of ongoing post surgical pain, within 12 treatments.
Patients who had undergone discectomy, fusion and/or laminectomy received nearly 57% percent relief.
The study showed that there were no adverse effect or events during their treatment with Cox flexion distraction’s gentle therapy and that it helped post surgical back pain patients with pain relief.
